The Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy will host a talk by Heiko Richter from LaserLabSolutions (LLS Rowiak) on TissueSurgeon for Laser Based Tissue and Material Processing
28th September 2017, 11:00 AM – Evetts Room, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge
The TissueSurgeon enables precise and contact free cutting for biological samples, tissue-engineering and material sciences. Based on femto-second laser technology, it can be used for sectioning, structuring or gentle extraction of samples and materials in 2D and 3D for analysis. For navigation and imaging of samples, the TissueSurgeon can be equipped with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Multiphoton Microscopy (MPM).
